This is my idea of a holiday. I’m wandering across the country with a guitar and a suitcase, visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Ardlethan, conversing with anyone who will listen, hawking books, writing in odd corners, sleeping on spare mattresses and playing songs in other people’s living rooms. I’m also going to perform the poems in my new chapbook q finger, recently published by PressPress. Bring ten bucks if you want to take one home.

Fri 29 April, Canberra: Traverse Poetry Slam. 7:30-10:30pm at The Front Gallery & Cafe, Wattle St, Lyneham. Happily, I’m not in the slam: I’m a guest performer, doing poems and music.

Sun 1 May, Canberra: ‘Expand Your Boundaries’ poetry workshop. 10am-1pm at the ACT Writers Centre, Gorman House Arts Centre, Ainslie Ave, Braddon. Please book with the Centre.

Sun 1 May, Canberra: Australian Poetry forum, 2-3:30pm at the ACT Writers Centre, Gorman House Arts Centre, Ainslie Ave, Braddon. As far as I know I’m not part of the programme, but I’m planning to be there and meet people.
